Rap Has Gone Down Hill And So Has Rock...
Also Has Anyone Seen Hip Hop Lately? I can not stand the music today, it is so hard to find good genuine artists.

Hip hop and Rap are two different things to me. But Rap has gone down hill.

Oh, I totally agree. Rap sucks nowadays, and Rock is on the low-road to becoming even worse.

While rap is losing popularity, rock is still going strong.

As time goes by, so do genres. However, the best music lasts forever compared to garbage music that seems to be here to stay forever so powerful, but that with the least effort of a puff it's gone forever as if it never existed. For your information, aside from classical music, the best music ever created, was created in the 1970's and the 1980's. Much of the music from these two decades will live forever and ever. If you don't know this now, someday you will after you've gone through all the garbage bags.

well asside from your false -partial- insinuation that i dont understand that those decades had their moments. I would like to piont out that those are opinions, and you really gave nothing to support except that if i dont agree then i will when i start to go through .

Also, i would have to disagree with you on that statement, in my opinion it was the 60's and the 70's that had the most memoral moments.
The music completely matched the time and gave birth to revolutions that we still see to this day. Not to mention during that time much of the visual art comunity was in complete company with the music comunity. They were less corperate and used their music as a force to make people fight for the freedom of expression and even for themselves.
The 80's seemed to give birth to some great artists that opened the path way to the artists we know today, but they are nothing comparable to the artists in the 60's and the 70's who completely gave their soul in their music, and got famous for lyrics and witty music composition instead of looking good and or remakeing songs.
