First of all for every person who says oh well rapppers rap about stuff they shouldn't so does every
other genre of music and music is just that....MUSIC which is a form of entertainment it shouldn't
have a conscience and it shouldn't uphold a moral duty to society that's not the point
then don't listen to them but stop trying to ban them....people who don't believe in god aren't trying to ban all gospel are they? so just leave rap music be and it will leave you be.
oh and Korn and ICPO death music and heavy metal isn't negatively affecting our teens. because it is now they act all depressed and wanna cut n kill themselves? and maybe they talk about death too much. ever thought of that
Every kind of music has its own significance and a specific form. The playing style and the way of
performance make every genre of music different from the other. Just like in pop melody is given
more priority and most compositions are melody based, in case of jazz there is a typical style of
playing. The same way in case of Rap more importance is given to the rhythm and alongside with the
rhythm the poetry is sung maintaining the rhythm. This kind of music is mostly famous and liked by
the youth and they listen to this music specially when they are partying or enjoying with their
friends. So when this music is entertaining the youth then how come we call it as bad? Rap is a
music and music is something which is not seen rather felt. So we can not call it as ugly.
Rap is merely freedom of expression and no one has the right to take that away from you. I don't
personally listen to it but I don't believe it is bad.
