Radical Individual Freedom Makes Peace And Harmony Impossible
Oftentimes we hear it said: Why can't people just get along and live in peace and harmony? In our culture with strong individualism where what's true for you is true for you and what's true for me is true for me are the mantra of the day, then one can say what's true for me is that I believe that you have to believe as I do and behave as I say--in this battle of Freedom vs. Peace, Freedom wins and Peace looses.

 I don't know if just the adjective "radical" makes anything necessarily anti peace and harmony. However, in life, peace and harmony seem to take a lot of give and take, sacrifice and giving up one's self-autonomy to some extent, don't you think? In my life, giving up my "having to be right" and self-absorption have led to much greater peace and harmony. Sort of the opposite of radical individualism.
