Of course. Anyone can be racist. Especially Michelle Obama. |

It seems like people have an intrinsic need to put the people around into class designations.
Through human history people have always found a way to separate people into a social hierarchy. |

Every single race can be racist because people will always be wary about what is different. |

That is correct. No matter how much you deny it everyone is a little racist at times. |

Someone in this race is using racism now anyway |

Yes, I too believe that stupidity exist amongst
humans, (sigh) oh-boy, nothing better to do than to blame human foulness on location and color tone,
Perhaps everyone should call it breedism, that way every one can feel comfortable doing it. |

There's always a racist in any ethnicity. |

I totally agree. Everyone has racism in their race. No one is exempt from it. I'm black and I
noticed that racism is even among black people against each other. Because I'm light-skinned, darker
skinned black women give me a hard time. Automatically saying things like," She's not really black,
because she is light." Or stating things like,"She thinks she is all that." Within the black race,
light and dark skinned women and men, seem to be at odds. I think it is stupid, and a waste of time.
But it does exist. |

Racism, I'm sure, is instinctive at some level. Sometimes I have noticed within myself that I feel
an instinctive contempt for people with red hair. Occasionally, I might be watching something in a
film or on television, then suddenly realise, introspectively, that I've been feeling a dislike of a
certain character for a while without any obvious reason. Then I notice that the person has red
hair. It seems that it's some deeply ingrained racial prejudice.
Of course we can overcome such things with our intellect and sense of morality, but it shows that
there is a certain amount of instinctive antagonism lurking within us. |

Jessie Jackson is no stranger to convenience and ridiculous statements. Racism is not a unique
characteristic of any single race or ethnic group, but it exists everywhere and among any who
incorrectly perceive another group of people as posing an existential threat. Racism, like all forms
of bigotry, is closely intertwined with fear of the unknown.
Racism certainly does not only exist among white Americans. I would argue that Malcolm X, for
example, and the entire black separatist movement was steeped in overt forms of racism. Many of
Reverend Jeremiah Wright's sermons offer us a more contemporary form of racism as well, not
necessarily by being vengeful against those of white European descent, but simply by seeing just
about all human experience through the restrictive prism of race. It is a mistake to emphasize one's
racial or ethnic identity to such an extent, as it unnecessarily increases divisions in society and
ultimately keeps the fear of the "other" alive. |
