....."A flowery band to bind us to the earth'.....did you know that if you study the cornea of the human eyeball there is a flowery-band found in the iris of the eye?
human eyeball binds you to this earth.
the third eye..."moves away the pall from our dark spirits"....as Keats said.
William Wordsworth said it this way: ...."that inward eye"......(the Third-Eye).....Antoine Saint-Exupery :...said it this way: "it is only with the heart that one can see rightly; for what is essential is INVISIBLE....to the eye" (human natural two eyeballs, that is)....

Martin Luther King: "I Have A Dream"...he could SEE something no one else could see...it was a vision of something not at that time in history seen or known to others; as yet, was unrealized !

Poet, Mary Carolyn Davies, put it this way....:
"forests were made for weary men that they might find their souls again"......she found a clarity in Nature, absent in the City.
Her closing argument at the end of the poem summed this up with:
"far from the City's craft and fraud, O Forest, lead me back to God".
She saw, inwardly, that the City was a place of Confusion and lacking insight, so she prayed that alone in nature, God would give her that Clarity of Sight, she used to have as a child in the woods alone absolute peace and brilliance and balance and God-oneness.

The children's book called, The Velveteen Rabbit put it this way:
"Love, makes you 'real".

And why is this so?

Jesus Christ expressed the SAME SENTIMENT/INSIGHT !
this way:

(Matthew 18:3)

"And Jesus called a little child unto Him, and set him in the midst of them, and said, 'Truly, I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter the kingdom of heaven".

Children's book entitled: "The Giving Tree" quote:

....."and the tree was happy"......(after he had given ALL).
when he had nothing left to give and was merely but a stump at that point, the end of the book.

Jesus said: "except ye give up all....ye cannot be, MY disciples".

hanging on the cross of Golgotha, Jesus said :

"It is Completion".

And God was happy.
(He had given ALL = His only Son 4 you and I, 2 find Completion).
