| Proving The Non-existence Of A God, Is Like Proving A Negative. |
| This old chestnut is brought up by believers all the time. They say 'Can you prove 'god' doesn't exist'. They never seem to give any scientific evidence to further their case, but expect others to conjure evidence on behalf of their skewed argument |

True, you cant prove God does not exist.
So why do atheists claim He does not exist? Your statement proves atheists believe in something
they cant prove. How is this different from those that believe He does?
I know...the burden of proof is on those claiming He does exist. But that does not change the
accuracy of my statement. Because atheists say "God does not exist." Prove the positiveness of
that statement. You cant. Because in order to prove your claim is true would mean you know
everything about everything. And no one knows that much. |

Yes i am for it because it really very wrong to prove the non_existence of god....but what is your
real point proving against god...only because some time in blue moon you will study and then ask god
to make u pass but then when you fail you say god does not exist...this is really wrong because he
really exist when u are in trouble you always remember one man that is GOD .............. |

It is simply a way for the boneheads who believe in God to pass the buck so they do not have to
prove that he does exits. In America a person accused of a crime is innocent till proven guilty the
same should apply to God he doesn't exist till you prove he does. |

This is one of the favourite memes of the religious cultists on this site. It doesn't matter how
many times you explain to them that demanding an atheist proves god doesn't exist makes no more
sense than demanding the atheist prove that giant pink space elephants don't exist.
Negatives can't be proven, unless they are rigidly defined. When you have as malleable a concept as
"god", there is no way to prove he doesn't exist. |

You are right. You cannot prove something doesn't exist. The onus is on those making the claim
that a god does exist. Until there is some evidence for gods existence it is fair to assume that he
doesn't. |

The whole proving a negative excuse just shows you cannot dis-prove God |

Yes you can, its been done. Its called physics and common scense. And as far as the evolution and
big bang proof, it proves that a god isn't need to make the universe and us. |

I can prove he doesn’t exist. Whenever Pat Buchanan comes on the television I rub my butt on the
screen and yet I still have not been struck down by lightning. Proving either god doesn’t exist or
he also thinks giving Patty the butt treatment is funny. |

We know so little about the universe. So with just a few hundred years of physics under our belts,
how can we prove that there is no god? I'm not denying the findings of physics and science, but
really, using our current knowledge of the universe to deny the existence of some kind of
intelligence behind the universe is like saying that one side of a wall can't be green because the
side you are looking at is purple. |

You are and you exist, if you were created in the image of God as the good book tells us, then God
exists through your creation! Simple as that old boy! What God gives you is freedom of speech,
freedom of writing, freedom of actions! If you spend all your time trying to prove he doesn't exist,
then you've not said a lot. That's the way I see it!! |
