I for one wont be surprised when a book/movie where the protagonist is a contract assassin becomes a
huge hit. |

In my opinion, they're not "Evil", they're misunderstood martyrs, or at least trying to fight the
"bad" in them.
Take Twilight for example, the protagonist (one of them, anyways) being a vampire who tries his
hardest to fight his instincts for whom he loves.
Technically, he's held up as "evil" because of tradition and sometimes because he truly does kill,
but character development tells us that he isn't so evil. Give me a book where the character is evil
as in cold-blooded evil, and I will gladly take back my argument. |
