Progressive Rock Is The Best Style Of Rock Music
I believe that this is the best style, because 1. It does not subscribe to mainstream tastes 2. The musicians are talented 3. The music is just as important as the lyrics 4. Instrumentals are awesome. Period 5. It is hated by the mainstream.

As much as I love Led Zeppelin and The Beatles, I have to agree. Music doesn't get any better than Yes or Pink Floyd at their finest.

The best music is always the same regardless of genre - music that pushed the boundaries of what was possible while still being tuneful.

I grew up on Progressive Rock and wouldn't call it the best. Good music is, to quote the film Good Will Hunting, "Whatever blows your hair back."
