| Pro Gay Marriage Proponents Must Refrain From Their Hate Speech, Bigotry And Christianophobia When Discussing The Issue. |
| It is becoming quite tedious to keep hearing the hate-filled speech, the bigotry and judgmentalism targeted at folks who defend the traditional definition of marriage. Pro gay marriage rhetoric reflects a very basic level of ill will and hatred of their Christian neighbors. To defend marriage the way it has been defined for the past 5000 years as between one man and one woman is hardly a direct attack against gay community or gay individuals. (continued) |

Well said!
Jesus may have left earth,
but he guides people with any good left in them.
He also blesses the humble with steel backbones and reasoning. |

For any mature discourse, its important for both sides to refrain from whatever you mentioned above. |

(continued)....After all, the Christian community has attacked many other enemies of traditional
marriage with much more persistence. Such enemies of marriage as adultery and divorce and
cohabitation have been far more a focus of pro traditional marriage defenders, than same sex
marriage advocates. So, the arguments are not about hating gay people or bigotry or judgmentalism
of just homosexualism. It is purely a defense of the institution. So, gay marriage advocates need
to look at themselves first in their own bigotry and hate-filled rhetoric. |

Hate speech? Please, just shut up. Stop pretending you're the persecuted ones. You christians have
pretty much ruled the world for the last 2,000 years. You're the majority, you're not being
victimized. Do we straight people get beaten in the streets for something we can't change? No, of
course not!
I'm willing to bet that the only reason that you're anti-marriage (stop pretending to be
"pro-marriage", I hate that too) is that your Bible book of fairy tales tells you to be. Am I right
or am I right? |

Yeah, we're the hateful ones (sarc-marc) . |

People who insist other people are an abomination to their God have no business whatsoever telling
others to refrain from hate speech.
People who are sexually attracted to the opposite sex and who are allowed to marry people of the
opposite sex, complaining about other people who are not sexually attracted to the opposite sex
wanting to be able to marry people who they are sexually attracted to.....
Should probably be put out of all of our misery.
Just saying. |

Christianophobia??? Please, will Christians stop pretending to be an oppressed minority group. You
have thoroughly controlled Western Civilization for well over a millenium and have had no problem
silencing those that opposed you. As long as your Bible insists on referring to homosexuality as an
"abomination", then there will always be people on our side that view your scriptures with moral
suspicion. |
