I think its personal taste but what i do measure music life on how long its around for instance
skiffle was at the same time as rock and roll and we know which is most popular |

What do you call pop? Hip Hop can be pop just the same as Metal can be Pop. Vanilla Ice and Kanye
west are both Hip Hop and pop.
For me pop sucks and has always done so. If you want to listen to real, grown folks music you must
search outside of the charts. It is very sad that it should be this way as now I am knocking on a
bit I have become more detached from the underground scene and so find it very difficult to discover
the decent music that is out there.
Why should it be this way. Why do so many people know of Kanye West but not Jurrasic 5, of
Christine Aguilara (sp?) but not Erykah Badu. Pop is to blame. |
