Yes definitely! There are apartments now that do allow pets; however, they all should. You rent the
apartment it's yours, people shouldn't have a right to tell you what you can and can't do as long as
you don't damage the property. Responsible pet owners should have no problem with that. |

If you were a landlord, you would think differently. Having pets allowed in an apartment is a very
bad idea. That is the landlord's property, not yours, so what do you care where the dog goes or has
accidents? That is the landlord's investment. He needs a guarantee that the unit will be in the same
condition it was in when you first moved in. That is why a lot of landlord are requiring deposits
for pets now. |
