People Who Blame Bush For 9/11 Do Not Know The Story Of 9/11.
People blame Bush for letting 9/11 happening and say that if Al Gore was elected it would have been prevented. People who say these things should watch documentaries such as National Geographic's "Inside 9/11." Anyone who saw things like these know that no matter who won the election it would have happened. The Hijackers were in the U.S. BEFORE the election of 2000.

There are many holes in 9/11 that yet to be answered... World Trade Center Building 7 never being attacked...yet Silverstein the man who held the lease is filmed by the media saying "so much destruction today, we're better off pulling it." meaning WW7..instantly the building goes from a containable fire to leveling to the ground... Silverstein was being fined by the New York Port Authority for not complying with the asbestos problem.. And bringing the buildings to code... A loss in renters due to many moving uptown when Bill Clinton made uptown chiche.... A gag order on NY fire fighters who heard explosions going on throughout the building... George Bush's little brother Marvin on the board of directors for Securacomm the security company whose clients include United Airlines and the World Trade Center..Very iffy stuff...

I do not know how to respond to this. Anyone that believes Bush is responsible for 9/11 is beyond reason. No way to deal with people like that.

Well no matter what happens you, meaning people, are always going to blame the president. No matter who it is, they have been planning this for the longest time. If we need to blame anyone we need to blame our airport security... If they would have picked up that they had knives then they would have been stopped. No one should have had knives on planes what you going to do with them cut you finger nails on a plane.... And the cockpits were not safe enough. They should of had guns back in 2001. Quit blaming bush. Its annoying. If it would be gore in the office what you not going to blame him of course you are... But you have to respect bush for taking all the blame and holding on to it as long as he has.... This is bout bout bin laden and the mean guys he has over there learning how to kill Americans and take out as many Americans as possible lets start blaming the real people... If we keep blaming each other another 9-11 is going to happen... Then who will we have to blame?

One can certainly argue that US foreign policy has created enemies, especially in the Muslim world, but it is inaccurate to suggest that George Bush is to blame for "letting" the 9/11 terrorist attacks take place, or that his political style would have in any way precipitated these attacks. Terrorism was a growing problem during the Clinton era, with the World Trade Center bombing of 1993, the 1998 US embassy attacks and the USS Cole attack in 2000. At the start of the twenty-first century, this trend simply escalated. The 9/11 attacks were also probably being planned months, if not years before Bush took office.

If we are to blame Bush for not preventing the attacks, then Clinton would have to shoulder as much, if not more blame, as he had eight years to tackle the problem. In fact, Clinton was interviewed a few years ago on Fox News, in which he was asked about whether he did enough to protect the US from terrorism. Clinton got rather upset by the journalist's insinuations that he had not moved effectively against terrorists.

The Terror train started along time before Clinton, yes he was the president before this one but the growing of this vision to harm this country has been stewing in the middle east for decades it started in the 1950's with an Egyptian named Sayid Qutb, look him up.

The past is in the past so we in the present can create the future... Right? Bush did it, bush didn't do it. We are not the only ones who don't know the truth behind 9/11. Don't let it bother you, be grateful your alive.

It's a known fact that the FBI was told to stop investigating the terrorist connections to the Bin Laden family after Bush took office and before September 11th. A document confirming this was leaked to journalist Greg Palast. The Bush family, in general, and Dubya in particular, had received money from the Bin Ladens in the past. Some of Bush's failed companies were bailed out by Bin Laden money, for example.

As Openurmind points out, it's also true that Bush took the longest vacation in the history of the American presidency at the exact moment when threat indications from intelligence sources were signalling alarm.

After the administration entered off, Cheney was appointed to head up a terrorism task force. His terrorism task force held no meetings before September 11th happened. He did manage to hold quite a few meetings of his Energy Task Force, however.

Even on the face of it, therefore, and accepting the public account of what happened on September 11th, there are good reasons to blame the Bushies for what happened.

But there are also strong reasons to suspect American government complicity in the September 11th attacks, or even to think that they may have orchestated the whole thing themselves. There is an article in the Articles section expounding this view.

When CIA Director George Tenet was on the stand. Timothy Roemer, a former Democratic congressman, asked him when he first found out about the report from the FBI's Minnesota field office that Zacarias Moussaoui, an Islamic jihadist, had been taking lessons on how to fly a 747. Tenet replied that he was briefed about the case on Aug. 23 or 24, 2001.

Roemer then asked Tenet if he mentioned Moussaoui to President Bush at one of their frequent morning briefings. Tenet replied, "I was not in briefings at this time." Bush, he noted, "was on vacation." He added that he didn't see the president at all in August 2001. During the entire month, Bush was at his ranch in Texas. "You never talked with him?" Roemer asked. "No," Tenet replied. By the way, for much of August, Tenet too was, as he put it, "on leave."

It is possible that if we had a different president with a different cabinet that was not on vacation the outcome of 9/11 could have been prevented.

This is definitely not true. Yes I agree that Mr Bush could have made better security levels, but did the rest of the world, and did him and the rest of America know this was coming. It's like saying Mr Blair is to blame for the London bombings. Most railway and plane companies, well nearly all of them now are private, so it's their duty to make their companies more secure. As I said the security we have on planes now is higher than on the planes ten years ago. This is because we've learnt from our mistakes of low security and are more prepared for terrorists. So if Mr Bush knew it was coming he would have upgraded security levels, but he didn't know about the 9/11 plane hijack so unfortuantely it occurred. But Mr Bush and other countries around the world learnt from it and have made travel more secure so it can be prevented.

This is not true. Regardless of what that movie says, all of the stuff dealing with 9/11 and the war in Iraq started in the Bush family. George W. Bush may not have caused it. He is trying to finish what his beloved daddy started. The entire Bush family is to blame for 9/11 and the entire war in Iraq. This war is their hobby. They enjoy it and they thrive off of it. Neither George Bush Sr. Nor George Bush Jr. Cared much about the people in the US. They are only interested in what is going on in Iraq. This is why our economy is failing. This is why we are losing our jobs, our homes, and our lives. We can no longer afford prescription medications, we cannot afford gas for our cars. All of this is because of Bush. It is time we all wake up and see this. NO MORE REPUBLICANS.

Actually i have seen "inside 9/11" and its an okay film but it still doesn't explain a lot of things. Maybe you should watch "loose change" and rethink your statement.
