People That Need To Point Out Their Own Good Qualities Usually Do Not Have Those Qualities
Example: A person that refers to themselves as intelligent, generous, or caring over and over probably is not what they say they are. If a person possesses such qualities, there is no need to point it out. Others will see it on their own.

I tend to agree that people who sing their own praises constantly about how great they are, how they are so much cleverer than everyone else and constantly attempt to belittle anyone who does not agree with them is usually hiding some deep insecurity. There is a German expression that states, 'big fronts hide big backs'.

By in large this is true. However, in my experience, this rule does not always apply to boxers and special operation soldiers.

This is very true, I would propound the concept that only about two percent of debaters on this site actually do blow their own horn, and I know for a definite fact that they have no good qualities that come to mind. In fact if her brain was taxed she'd get a huge rebate...;-) However, I would also propound the concept that ninety eight percent of all other debaters on this site are extremely intelligent and extraordinarily creative, and you artemis are most probably at the top of the list....;-)

In a world of competition, one can't cram with your work without supporting. One needs to tell others about their achievement, in positive way. I strongly believe that one who tells other about his or her good qualities is exactly having such good things. One who zips his or her mouth tightly has no any quality! To prove oneself 's qualification is one of a success person. One who waits people to point out his or her quality can be regret. Let's stand front and tell the world our achievement as a good role model!
