If we don't believe in freedom of expression for those whose ideas we absolutely, completely, and
unabashedly despise, for those whom we think are nothing but a pack of radical neo-nazies, for those
persons who adopt the most disgusting and racist political philosophy possible and march onward
whilst ignoring logic, fact, and decency, for those persons who would do everything in their power
to destroy the openness and acceptance that western society is founded on, then we don't- er...
Sorry. Forgot where I was going with that. Let me scroll up.
OH YES! - then we don't believe in freedom of expression at all.
Also, if we get rid of all the non British people in Britain, does that mean that the ANGLO-SAXXON
folks will go back to Germany, and give Britain back to the descendant's of the Brythons? (I.E. The
Welsh?)
Cause no one Anglo Saxxon is ethnically british. The angles came from what is now
Schlesswig-Holstein. I mean, if that's the case, then as a Scot, I might have to support the BNP.
If you know, the English Invaders are going to take one for the team and give England back to the
Welsh. |

It is un democratic. Just shows you, a party of borderline facists can show themselves as the true
democratic party in our society. |

It doesn't happen often but you are right...;-)) |

Hold up...You're going to have to dumb it down for me. What's the Bnp? |

It should not be surprising if a private firm with a diverse group of employees and clients would
not tolerate BNP members in its ranks. The BNP's raison d'etre is based on overt racism and people
who profess such unacceptable views should find it more difficult to remain employed in a
multicultural society. I have little sympathy for them. If I were an employer, I wouldn't want
far-right-wing voters in my midst either. |

In what rare cases is it justified? |

Now I have to disagree, the BNP are considered a racist party and even though they have distanced
themselves from it had links with neo Nazi's and a tendency to agree with them. If member such as
police, teachers and doctors hold such views surely it allows for institutionalised racism across
different fields and xenophobic ideologies, surely racism is a hinderance to a democracy. Depending
on the job field it might be best if they did lose their job. |

I have a tendency to disagree with you Hidell in this debate, couldn't that lead police officers,
(to whom I pressume you are referring), into becoming biased in certain situations, If they had
strong political views, as those afronted upon a cosmopolitan society such as ours by the BNP?
Defense Lawyers would have a field day in court, and there could also be all kinds of other
implications. |
