People Put More Focus On Disproving And Blaming A Loving God.
I think that we see people put more effort into disproving and blaming a loving God for everything that has gone wrong on this Earth, than blaming Satan who has set out to destroy mankind right along with himself.

True. Because its too hard for people to accept a personal ultimate being. He either must not exist or be evil. People prefer that to a benevolent God. In that case, I guess Satan can rule those sorts of people.

 I'd have to see some good research before saying the majority. Most of the religious people aren't activists. Most of them live normal working lives and don't mix politics with religion or religion with their day to day interactions with other people.

I grew up in the religious world and it's something the leaders and activists have always complained about. The masses (thankfully) simply do not swallow a lot of the more questionable teachings. I think there are religious people on this site who act very well. They are more indicative of the masses but are not near as outspoken as the activists. They're not usually gonna cause a fuss.

Yeah. The reason people do it is because the explanations presented by many religions are obviously idiotic.

Many religions talk about a perfect creator, creating humans and then shooting them into eternal punishment like marbles.

While they speak this gibberish, they say it's the humans fault for not repenting of their evil ways. While saying this, people see the religious people who are saying it doing very bad things. We even get to see it on the evening news. Or we get to hear their spokespeople say terrible things like, I hope a catastrophe doesn't happen to the town because God won't listen to the townspeople cry for help because they didn't vote to have "intelligent design" taught in their public schools.

I could go on and on. Just on this site we are graced with religious people saying terrible things about homosexuals and making fools of themselves talking about science.

Religious leaders and their non-reasoning followers have given people every reason to question a perfect God. Except for themselves. They question nothing other than why the other people can't see the beauty in their ugly religions.

 Doesn't it seem like if you look at the bible as one big story, people like Judas and Lucifer had to do what they did in order to move the story on to the next plot point. I mean how was Jesus supposed to die for our sins without Judas’s betrayal?

Well that's okay but don't but the good things that happen on earth down to god either. Or even better don't believe in god then satan will disappear, then you'll realise that things happen without reason, good people die, bad people live long and vise versa.

I never cease to be amused that people genuinely believe there's a Satan physically walking the earth and pulling all sorts of dirty tricks and perversions on us. They're paranoid and superstitutious.

Assuming there is a Satan then either a) he's banished and overpowered by God and can't do squat, or b) he can only tempt us, in which case it really isn't Satan doing the dirty deeds it's still people so there's no reason to blame him anyway, or c) he can physically change our world either in person or from afar but in which case the ultimate evil in the world should be able to pull off a whole lot worse a whole lot more often. Frankly I'd be quite disappointed at how little he accomplishes with that power.

When you believe dark forces are actively moving, manipulating, bewitching, and changing nature you put yourself in the same group as the hysterical people who persecuted "witches" and now are frowned on by history.

If your 7 year old hits your dog with a stick it isn't Satan leading him astray nor is it God disciplining your dog it's a 7 year old being 7 and needing some teaching. If a hurricane hits the gulf it's because every now and then that happens, not because Satan or God are making a statement. If atheists or agnostics vote to stop you from thrusting your religious view down the throat of an entire nation it's because they're defending freedom of thought NOT because they hate your God nor that they're soldiers in Satan's army.

Some people don't believe in god or satan. Because they do not believe what you believe does not mean they are disproving or blaming.

It is not god, people blame; it is his or her followers.
