Yes, parents are responsible for the actions of their children until the children reach the age of
independence. The parents are responsible for raising a child that will act in accordance with
society's laws and standards and many parents simply abrogate this responsibility because they're
too busy screwing around on things they'd rather be doing. |

Parents are responsible for a child's actions whether they are three years of age, or twenty. If
values and good manners are enforced, then he/she will continue to make good choices and display
good behaviour.
Of course, the actions of others can rub-off on a child. Surely you've heard the expression, "You
sleep with dogs, you'll get fleas"? Well, if the child is taught correctly, he/she will have good
judgement and choose good friends and people to associate with. |
