Its pure political sham. Grab the Hilary swayers by the balls. Turns the political race of the
"worlds greatest democracy" into farce. Of all the republican senators, who honestly believes that
Palin is the right person for the job? She is there to win votes, not do what is best for the
country. It is embarrassing. |

Alaska isn't a serious state. It's awash in oil money. This is a state where the government can
afford to send out $4000 to each citizen each year. That insulates the politicians from reality.
They don't have to make difficult choices or trade-offs. As far as executive experience goes, being
the Governor of Alaska is like being head of the local PTA.
It's not just that she isn't well-informed about international issues. She isn't even well-informed
about national issues. She is a small-time, parochial politician.
Here's an interview where she says "What is it exactly that the Vice President does every day?"

At least Hidell is always good for a laugh. Using power to get someone fired from their job....how
obscene. Lmao Cmon now...We're talking a vice presidential candidate in the US...there's gotta
something better than that!
I agree with the topic heading in many ways. Too bad, Hidells description is so poor I can't join
in.
She obviously has little experience for the position. Then again, Chaney had a lot. Hidell loves to
bash people with experience. So while she has little experience, it can be debated that it doesn't
matter.
I will play Hidells game. He gives a link to comments on her inexperience by some scholars. Here's
who they are:
This is the republican response from the site -
The authors quote four scholars attacking Gov. Palin's fitness for the office of vice president.
Among them, David Kennedy is a maxed-out Obama donor, Joel Goldstein is also an Obama donor, and
Doris Kearns Goodwin has donated exclusively to Democrats this cycle. Finally, Matthew Dallek is a
former speech writer for Dick Gephardt. This is not a story about scholars questioning Gov. Palin's
credentials so much as partisan Democrats who would find a reason to disqualify or discount any
nominee put forward by Sen. McCain."

I would probably have to give the worse vp pick to Al Gore, that guy had to be on crack or something
to think he invented the Internet. Or wasn't tricky Dicky Nixon the vp at one time?
Leave it to you to jump on one small thing she's done and make a mountain out of a mole hill.
Like they say "nothing worse than a woman scorned"
I believe your probably right, that McCain might not make it through his whole term. If Obama gets
in there, he might not either, in our news paper today, it said there's a guy calling him the
anti-christ and calling for his death, if that spreads, who knows.
But if McCain did die, I rather have Palin as president, because I like the fact that she even went
against corrupt republicans in Alaska, got them kicked out and got rid of stupid programs that cost
the state a lot of money, put that money to good use or gave it back to the people.
Now there's PRESIDENTIAL material.
Obama has done next to nothing, has next to no experience....said he's going to increase
spending.....a lot and lower taxes. (hope he's got a money tree) Then cure the oil problem by
putting air in you tires.....or yeah a tuneup too. I don't think increasing your gas mileage by a
couple of mpg will do the trick. |

Who makes the test for Presidents? No one! Each President has had different areas of expertise. Look
at Lincoln & Obama. Obama has about the same amount of experience he did. In the end, the American
people will decide how much experience you need or have. She seems fairly nice. And we all should
wait until the VP Debate before we judge her. |

Sorry but this page has either moved or cannot be found!
Awe, I thought that might be interesting.
With Alaska having the highest suicide rate in the world Ms. Palin will have plenty of experience
helping people through difficult times.
There is every reason to believe there are difficult times ahead.
The less fortunate in society need someone with down to earth experience.
She could even be the first woman President in the Whitehouse. |

Of course, for you to say this you must be very familiar with all the vice-presidential choices in
history. You are, right? |

Okay, you clearly don't know anything about her, except her name. She is not a no-experience dimbo.
She was the governor of Alaska and she was the mayor of a small city in Alaska and that's more
experience than McCain OR Obama. Also, she never said she doesn't know what the vice president does.
She knows. Either you're lying about the things you have said or you have not done much research on
Sarah Palin. Do some research, before you start bashing someone. |
