The decline of morality is a good thing, maybe the rise of the conscience would better serve in

Of course it is. People are running around like animals, and there are laws that promote loose
morals. Not only that, today's kids are being raised secularly which makes it worse. |

While I don't think we're worse off morally than ever before, I do believe that some of us have lost
some good values. However, it is our own fault for letting negative things influence our culture. |

believe there will be a debate.
The status of moral decay depends on where and when you compare it to. World history is a long dark
story of raping and pillaging and murder. What I see in the present is I can walk down the street
of my city headed to work or shop or whatever and I'm unarmed and fairly relaxed and know there's a
pretty good chance I'll reach my objective and then get home safely. What a contrast that is to
past times when we carried swords and lived in fortifications, etc. And actually I'd like you to
tell us which point in history you think is an exemplary time which we just recently have fallen
from to thus be in this moral decay? |
