Raising people's taxes are always a double edged sword. You raise the taxes on the rich, they
increase the price of products they sell and the poor and middle class pay more in sales tax, so who
REALLY pays the taxes, the poor and middle class.
You raise the taxes too high on the rich and they say, the heck with ya, close their business
doors and go over seas or to Mexico.
You have to use your brain sometimes, even the oil industry (which I don't like any more than
anyone else) but common sense says: If the oil industry makes 5 billion dollars and that is 3%
return on their money, so the government says we'll take 1% of that, the oil industry makes 2% on
their money. WHY should they do business, when they could take those billion or trillions of dollars
they spend to make 2% and Just put it in the bank in a CD at 2.5% with no work.
Think about it. |

In point of fact as he's presented his plan you are wrong. If you have some sort of magical
knowledge of how it would end up after it went through congress then that's another subject. As
usual you spout nonsense without any real knowledge. You’re just as ridiculous as people on the
far left who do the same thing. |
