Back in the old British empire days, a favourite technique was to get the brown people to police
themselves. Appoint some local headman, tell him Queen Victoria had heard all about him and was an
admirer of his and hoped they could work together successfully. Then watch as he kept his own people
in line, hoping he might get an invite to meet the queen some day.
Something similar is going on with Obama. The American story, very simply, is a story of the murder
and oppression of brown people, first in America itself, later in Latin America, and, latterly,
across the entire world. With Obama, the American dream is finally complete : The country has found
a brown man ready to crack the whip on his fellow brown men. |

Obama is going to be a great President.. Admire his courage because he is in for a battle. Example,
Healthcare is 16% of the U.S. G.D.P. And rising... More companies are declining to insure their
employees healthcare... Since 2001, healthcare premiums for families have risen 78% while wages only
19% and inflation 17%. Healthcare reform is mandatory to the economy and for the American people..
Not universal healthcare...healthcare reform..more choices.... At better rates.... That means
humbling insurance companies that love staggering profits.....
He is going to tackle this and a enormous economy all at once... I admire him.... |

1) It's unfair, in fact racist, to accuse a person with darker skin to be an "Uncle Tom" simply
because they don't talk or act in stereotypical way in line with some other people of darker skin,
2) You forgot that Pres Obama is also 1/2 Caucasian in bloodline. How can someone 1/2 "White" be an
Uncle Tom? And other celebrities are half blood too, for example Tiger Woods. Is anyone accusing
Tiger of betraying the Asians? 3) The message in today's Inaugural was balanced, enlightened and
fair. An intelligent answer NEVER makes any person an "Uncle Tom". In fact Uncle Tom denotes
someone who would say and do anything and everything to appease Caucasians and their culture and we
did not see or hear anything like that today. African-American culture was respectfully reflected
in the makeup of the Inauguration as well as a large swath of the rest of the public which makes up
the USA. |

I really don't see why you consider the shade of the man's skin so important. I would hope he does
share more in common with his fellow country men and women who voted him in to represent them than
people several thousand miles away in a different culture but with a similar skin colour. I cannot
understand your point here. |

This seems like a racist judgmental statement on first inspection. Hooligans have just been fined
five hundred quid, and have been banned from attending football matches for three years for making
less offending comments than you have made in your debate. What proof have you that President Obama

Good grief, here we go again. The funny thing is.. He has no "white Boss" after noon today :) Your
statement make no sense whatsoever. Obama being brown has nothing to do with anything. He has
internalized the ideology of American Politics. Le't not forget that he is just as much white as he
is black....so race technically shouldn't even be an issue. |
