Being a user of lenses myself, I would rather prefer to wear Oakley eyeglasses. There are not too
many reasons for preferring this but some valid and strong points to make this clear. I feel much
comfort in wearing glasses in lieu of lenses. And if the manufacturer is Oakley, then there is no
arguing anymore exists. Actually I have to stay out of my house for a long time and my lenses do not
get the proper time for disposable. It is recommended that a maximum six to eight hours gap between
two disposable is perfect. But mostly I get failed due to my busy schedule. So, Oakley eyeglasses do
not give any tension like this. I can spend much longer time outside as there is no such
recommendation for wearing this eyeglass. I prefer to wear Oakley for its market reputation and for
its high comfort. |

They have (my 2cents) the look most people like but not the price. I agree. |

I went through a phase of wearing contact lenses all the time, probably due to perhaps being too
'image-conscious- and I often still do if I go out for the evening, for example. I also wear them
when playing sport.
However, though I wear daily disposables, I recently bought a decent pair of glasses, and I've found
myself wearing them most of the time - they're very comfortable, and easy to slip on and off;
although, yes, contact lenses perhaps take only a couple of seconds longer to put in and take out,
if you've worn them for a period of time.
Also, the problem for me is that I was wearing them for too long; I think it is recommended between
6-8 hours for daily disposables, and I was often keeping them in longer. So I partly wanted to help
my eyes out by wearing glasses.
So though I have no objection to contact lenses, and wear them on several occasions, glasses are,
for me, just as comfortable, if not more comfortable, and healthier for my eyes. |

I much prefer contact lenses to eye glasses, primarily because of where I live. Here in Canada,
wearing glasses is very inconvenient in the winter, which tends to be extremely cold throughout much
of the country. Most people's glasses get foggy every single time you walk indoors after having been
outside. Whenever I enter a restaurant, a store, a university building or a library, I find myself
having to remove my glasses, because I see absolutely nothing.
The situation in the summer is not much better. Throughout much of central and eastern Canada,
summers can be very hot and also humid. It is not uncommon for the temperature to be over 30
degrees celsius for several days in a row, but when the humidity is factored in, the temperature is
closer to around 40 degrees celsius. When you sweat, your glasses start to slip.
Those who engage in sports probably also find wearing contacts much more convenient, especially if
they run marathons or swim. After years of wearing glasses, I now wear contacts every day to work
and only take them out before going to bed. |
