Nuclear Fusion Could Save The World.
At the moment, we use Nuclear Fission: Two large nuclear nucleus like uranium, being split into two smaller nuclei, resulting in a huge amount of energy. The amount of free energy contained in nuclear fuel is millions of times the amount of free energy contained in a similar mass of chemical fuel such as gasoline. There is the nuclear waste problem however. Fusion releases more energy by fusing two lighter nuclei into one heavier nucleus and virtually no nuclear waste is produced. Could this save the planet?

We need as many different ways to find alternative energy, so anything right now would be greatly appreciated.

 I have a great idea, but don't know where to take it. I wouldn't mind making a little profit from the idea, either.

It is the way forward for the worlds power... The fact that you use an abundant resource (hydrogen) and create huge amounts of energy it is the way forward for Britain and indeed the rest of the world. (Callum wrote this)

Not at the moment nuclear fusion requires vast amounts of energy and at the moment technology cannot make fusion efficient
