Washing your hands is necessary. It's exesssive hand washing and constantly disinfecting and
sterilizing everything that lowers the immune system. |

You need germ-a-phobe training 101! I'm in training myself. Read about this issue and you will
learn to wash your hands properly and often. Here's just a few things you should look into...
Do you start with the same cooking utensils at the beginning as you end with? You should never
handle raw food with the same utensil you remove the food from the heat with. I met someone once
who used the same plate to take the steaks to the grill as he did to serve the steaks. Needless to
say I didn't eat that night!
Have you ever seen fecal matter through the microscope...at something that came from YOUR kitchen?
Some homeschooled teens did these experiments and it literally freaked me out - what they found was
sickening!
How close does your toothbrush reside to your toilet? How far does your toilet spray when flushed?
Do you wash your hands and then use that hand towel just a foot away on the counter?
Have you ever worked in a restaurant and actually tore down one of those drink machines? Ever get
*the runs* after only having a soft drink from your local fast food joint? As we age, our systems
can't handle these germs and bacteria like they do when we're young so its possible that you won't
notice until years later. I could go on...I'm being reformed from my germaphobia. I now use
vinegar often instead of bleach. I only use antibacterial hand soap instead of buying only cleaning
products that were labeled "antibacterial". I'm not so clean now that my kids stay sick but not
washing the hands is exactly how people GET SICK. If you are not washing your hands then you are
transferring germs! |

You know you can go in do your business, leave and then use an alcohol base spray to clean your
hands, they come in pocket size bottels and kill 99.9% of known germs, much more affective than soap
and water. I carry one to clean my hands before I inject my meds. They make you use them in
hospitals now too. And the best bit is, if you find yourself in a W/C with one of those blow dryers
and you know that if you wash you won't be able to dry, you can spray and it drys in 10 seconds!
Also I don't know where you people go for the lavitory but I have never been in one that has
excriment on the walls..... Ugh feel sick now!!! |

I hope you don't work in a restaurant.
Although I understand your rationale the truth is soap and water are scientifically proven to
greatly decrease the quantity of germs on the hands and even before you set foot in that public
bathroom you are inevitably carrying a small army of germs already. The washing not only attacks
the new germs in the bathroom but the original germs on your hands.
You need to wash your hands.
But, I want to end by agreeing that public bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, especially men's
rooms, and why WHY do men get urine and feces all over the place in there? WHY! You guys hate it
when it's your turn to use it, so why leave it that way for someone else?! |

FYI: Urine is sterile., look it up. And no problem, OK is definitely NOT on my "short list" of
travel destinations. I have already met enough Okies, personally... |
