Not All Scientific Theories Have Evidence Or Proof Of Its Validity.
In 1948, the steady state theory was proposed. It said that the universe was expanding, but claimed that as galaxies retreat from each other, new matter comes into being out of nothing and fills the void. So in contradiction to the first law of Thermodynamics, which says that matter is neither created or destroyed, the universe is supposedly being constantly replenished with new matter. This was a well excepted theory, with no evidence! It was created solely for the desire to avoid the absolute beginning of the universe dictated by the big bang model.

The big bang theory. No one was around to see that happen, and there is no evidence. And apparently they're testing the theory now, so I guess we'll find out on this one. So nvm, lol

Quantum mechanics as a general subject is based on explaining the randomness of the universe and it still can't explain why atoms come randomly into existence, there is no pattern and no causal effect for it and there is no evidence or explanation it just happens.

Saying evidence along with proof of validity is not presenting viable debate. Two different things.

In keeping with what I think you are getting at...

The scientific "purists" on this site seem to omit the fact that there are vast disgraces not only about some theories but within theories. And these don't just have to do with evolution. And they can come from scientists who don't believe in gods.

Most of these opposing views are constructive and push science to more knowledge.

I would like to say that "evidence" can be supportive or non-supportive. Evidence in it's truest since can be subjective. The exploratory thought and scientific philosophy behind much scientific advancement is evidence because it is tangible thought. There is thought that would be dismissed as intangible to a theory.

The validity of each single piece of evidence can change throughout the process of verification. What was used as evidence a year ago for this particular portion of a theory can lose much of it's validity concerning said theory and move into being evidence of something else.

I understand the "thought" which propels science forward into the quest for "hard" evidence is not the same as "hard" evidence. But one would have to agree that often times the "thought" propelling the quest often times supercedes the hard evidence that is being discovered (especially during the early phases of the quest). This "thought" can push beyond early evidence which is prone to being more volitle as pertaining to it's being supportive evidence.

Surely you are "FOR" then if what you are claiming is that the philosophical deviation is what propels science, clearly what you are claiming is that in the process of theorising what propels science is none valified dilberation, and does not require "evidence" but that science is effectively that deliberation and is purely philosophical.
I believe science cannot properly transmit truth to the universe since truth is a human psychological shield we claim reason upon things (as i have said on the debate about "reason") But what science is, is that essential deliberation and that truth searching which we all do crave... But what starts it all is a theory, the facts dont begin a theory... And what u have claimed is "FOR" the hypothesis in question....

Strictly speaking it was a hypothesis that helped explain the available data at the time. It did have supporting evidence and in fact was correct in part at least insofar as how many of the elements on the periodic table came to exist (inside suns). And as per scientific protocol when contradictory evidence (cosmic microwave background radiation) came to light it was largely abandoned.
