Seriously. Toilet. Disrespectful.
Put them in a box and Bury them |

Animals should be treated as humans: With love and respect. Put the fish in a shoebox with their
toy castle, have a proper ceremony, and walk away. Is that so hard? |

Hey, I have a dead fish, can I send it to your house? |

I agree. How much effort would it take to dig a small hole in the ground and bury your beloved fish?
It is disrespectful to flush your fish down the toilet with the other sewer. One should place them
in a small sandwich baggy and bury them in the back yard. After all, your fish gave your something
beautiful to watch and fun to care for. He may not have been able to cuddle like a dog or cat, but
he did provide you pleasure in other ways. Therefore, you should respect him enough to give him a
decent burial and simply not throw him out with the other sewer. |

Would you rather put them in a creek... |

When i am dead you can do whatever you want with my body. Respect my life not the dead body i left
after my life was lived. |

Its a fish just flush it. |

Why not ? A dead fish is the equivalent of the uneaten portion of your fillet of sole. Put in in the
garbage or flush it, who cares ?
Let's not get carried away too much ! People are dying in the street, that's much more important
than a dead goldfish... |

I would rather flush my fish down the toilet than have them decompose in a plastic bag |

I remember when my first goldfish (his name was Murphy) died, I much prefer that my mother flush him
down the toilet, than simply throw him in the garbage. The toilet seems to be the most appropriate
and most sanitary way to dispose of a dead goldfish. I do not, however, think that it is realistic
to expect people to offer these tiny creatures a burial, since most of us don't even do that for
house pets, like dogs and cats, who often become members of the family and have much more personal
contact with humans, over an extended period of time. Most goldfish die within a year--mine usually
died within a month. As such, my mother kept replacing them for me so often, that a simple flush
down the toilet was the easiest, most convenient and probably most humane form of disposal. |
