Nicotine - apparently 3/4 times more addictive than heroin. Make you change your mind about having a cigarette?

All drugs which have ever been made illegal have two common traits:

1. The wealthy did not profit from them.

2. The majority of the users were the poor.

That's true of every drug. When cocaine and heroin were legal, they were medicines and used by the wealthy; when that stopped, they were made illegal. Alcohols were once mostly the choice of the wealthy (scotches, champagnes, wines) but when the poor started drinking, they stayed legal because bottlers made money.

Marijuana is harmless but was the drug of choice of the poor. Cigarettes and tobacco are used more by the less educated (the poor, usually) but are profitable so they stay legal.

Not really. Once you are addicted to smoking it really doesn't make a difference. I as a smoker know the side effects and know how addicting it is and still cannot quit. I don't think twice when I light one up. I think of the stress I am relieving. People who don't smoke will never have a clue as to how hard it is tio even contemplate quitting. Quitting turns you into the meanest, most hateful person you will ever know.

In the long run, maybe fags are more addictive - but you're much worst off once addicted to Heroin.
The cost for the drug is a lot higher than that of a box of fags
Your addiction puts you in danger [drug dealers etc]
and you end up messed up in the head....
Although fags are bad for you, the fact that they are more addicted than heroin wouldn't be the reason i wouldn't smoke nor would it make me change my mind if i did decide to smoke.
