Why should an ADULT be too young for something? It doesn't make sense. |

Yes i think that the drinking age should be 16. But the driving age should be 21. |

Yes. I do believe the age for drinking should be lowered.
It is currently necessary to be of 21 years of age.
And i definitely think it should be lower. At least 19.
My reason for this is:
At the age of 18, you can be in the army.
You could kill a human being.
Take away ones life,
and you cant have a beer?
You could get married,
and cant drink on your wedding day, nor
order alcoholic beverages on your honeymoon in Cancun?
Have a baby.
Pay taxes.
Raise a family.
You know why.
Because your old enough.
And responsible.
But not responsible enough to have a beer apparently.
Teenagers shouldn't drink.
YOUNG teenagers.
They're bodies are still developing.
They're still immature, and cant be expected to drink responsibly.
But to deny an ADULT a Smirnoff?
A drink with how much 5% alcohol?

It's nineteen where I come from and it works just swell. I could say my true opinion, lowering it to
16, but its to biased. I'm 16 so why wouldn't I want it to be lowered, I have to wait three more
years before I can drink legally. I guess it might take the fun out of it though. |
