Naming Your Child Boring Names Is Abusive
Because there is no death like one of sheer BOREDOM. Therefore, a boring name, like John, or Mary, is cruel and unusual punishment. Whatever you do, just don't let a name be ......ORDINARY......

My friends named their three boys Tim, Ted, and Tom. No joke. I don't talk to them any more.

 Please tell me that they are boring and that you don't talk to them just because of there name. If you did that's a bit shallow.

I thing an out of the ordinary name is great actually.
Yours is really nice and my name Leslie is O.K. Too, I sure wouldn't want to be called Dick.
What I do not like is Apple or Caviare or Finchling.

 I met a gal named "Cherish" once. I thought to myself; "What a wonderful thing to carry with you everywhere you go"......

Thing is? She lived up to that name.....

As sure as my name is Chester Renegade Mohawk it is.
(their was actually someone from my town who changed their name by deedpole to this).

A normal boring name is better than the new crazy names celebrities give their kids. A simple name like john or mary is better than apple or knox

John and Mary are not boring names. They are names given to people of great value from the Bible. (I take special offense because my father is named John).

If the "boring" names means something to the parent, it's fine. It's better than Apple, anyway.

It's not the name your given that makes who you are, it's your actions and thoughts. Your name is relatively insignificant to the consideration of everything.

What may be boring to you may not be to others. Names are also passed down from generations and they mean something to the family. Naming your children should have a meaning and that should be the most important thing it should never be "the moment"...
