School is for learning, not messing around on myspace. |
| |
| |

School is an environment where the students should not be exposed to distractions like that. And i
am a teenager who has a myspace, and i think its one of the best things ever in my spare time, but i
really don't think that it should be something we can get to during school. |
| |
| |
| |
I can not think of one good reason it should be allowed during school hours. |
| |
| |
| |
Myspace has no place in a learning environment, it should not be needed at schools. |
| |
| |
| |
There's no reason why students would need to access MySpace in their school hours. It's not
educational, it's not academic, it's not even a news website. Surfing the internet is truly not an
entertainment fit for the school environment. |

Yes, i agree that myspace has zero educational value and is full of porn, viruses and perverts. I'm
surprised you would even need to ask that question. Next you'll be asking if playboy should be
unblocked. |
| |
| |
| |
Myspace has a lot of adult content and is therefore inappropriate, the kids should be learning, not
chatting to their myspace pals |
| |
| |
| |
Myspace should be and continue to be banned at schools
it has no purpose in the classroom what do you go to school to play games or to learn.
Poor teachers would have an unmotivated classroom with student more interested in what their profile
picture is or what their friends are saying
Cyberbullying don't reject it it happens. And with myspace being unblocked from schools this
phenomena will become larger for the bullies would have 24/7 control tormenting their victims mostly
all day everyday.
COST: You know that is costs the schools to run internet and with the children in schools being on
myspace all day these internet running costs could go through the roof. Myspace is addictive ( lol)
HELLO it's not an educational tool and doesn't belong at school!!!! |
| |
| |
| |
Yes it should some kids could look on myspace and see very inappropriate things not necessary for
kids to see |
| |
| |
| |
Yes Myspace Should be blocked in schools. Myspace doesn't have anything to do with education. It
can bring more danger and the internet should not be used for such leisurely purposes. |
| |

I just can't envision the scenario that would demand having to go to myspace. Myspace, along with
forandagainst.com, youtube, and dozens of other websites can wait. This must be some kind of
modern-walking through the snow-thing but, back in my day :), you couldn't even check your own
email.
I guess in the end, students will always find a way around any sorts of blocks, because teachers
don't really care. At worst, when they get caught fooling around on myspace they'll just get them
to leave the library. Still myspace will never be able to be argued as educational... That's pretty
sad |

MySpace is a good website, but there is no need to use it in schools. It is a social networking
website, therefore there is no reason for it to be used at school.
You can easily check your MySpace profile at home. Sites such as MySpace and Facebook can get rather
addictive and school isn't the best place to use them as they can distract you easily. |

I see no reason why MySpace has any place in schools whatsoever, it isn't an educational tool,
therefore why should people be able to access it from schools at all?
Makes no sense. |
