It's an easy way to talk talk friends when you are not face to face with them, It's a great way to
keep in touch with people you may have lost contact with. As long as you talk to people you know
then it can be completely safe and don't meet up with people you don't know then there is no risk. |

I really like myspace. It is a great place to find people you have lost contact with or even people
you went to school with. You can show pictures of your family and set up the whole page to your
preference. It tells a lot about a person on how they set their page up. It is also a great place to
make new friends. I think myspace will be around for a very long time. |

I agree with two of the other comments, in general myspace is a good idea. I do know people who have
been hurt by slander on Myspace. One thing that I disagree with is when parents blame Myspace on
their daughter becoming..(how to put this delicately?)... |

I've been on myspace for almost 3 years now and I would say it has it's ups and downs. I think it's
a great place to reunite with old friends and family. However, in the wrong hands it can be
dangerous. There are too many people out there that are oblivious to the dangers of the internet
and have been caught in some scary situations. People need to learn to not give out persona
information that would lead a freak to their home or work.
I also don't think children should be permitted on myspace or other chats, unless an adult approves
it. It's too dangerous. Children don't know danger. I also believe that for a person in a
relationship, they need to be very secure in that relationship before they get on myspace or another
chat. It is a good way to start arguments or end relationships if the relationship isn't strong to
begin with.
So, used appropriately, myspace can be a fun place to be. |

Yes I agree. Myspace is a good website. It's good for meeting new friends, promoting work, such as
art and music and you can change the look of your profile anytime you like. It's a very useful and
fun website.
There are some privacy issues, but if you set your profile to private and don't display where you
live then it should be ok.
Myspace is good because you can choose to meet new friends or just keep your profile private and add
people to your friends list that you already know. It's also fun because you can add your favourite
songs to your profile and add your favourite bands to your friends list.
The best thing about it is that it's free and a much cheaper way of keeping in touch with your
friends and arranging events than spending money on text messages! |
