To me they are very boring and I can't usually stand the actors in them. As a film and media student
I try to relate to the real world, but do you actually see people randomly jumping out in song. Also
in a lot of musicals the depictions are very unfair, usually relating to traditions, woman has
housewives and role of servants.
The only musical I can stomach is High School Musical, not because its particularly good but because
its got Zac Efron in it. That really isn't a good reason to like something is it. |
