I 100% agree with this. Whenever me and my friends go out to see a film we end up sneaking snacks
into the cinema. It's either that or pay like 3.50 for a bag of sweets, which I bought from another
shop, could cost me less than 99pence. And popcorn, well that's just a joke. |

I agree it is terrible how high movie theater refreshments are it is a crime |

I used to go to the movies all the time with my friends, but the refreshments cost more than the
movie, and for that money, we could go out to a restaurant or something more fun |

This is why I have stopped going to movies as frequently. I always just stop at the gas station
before I go for candy and I bring pop from home. |

They are the legal thieves, they steal our money from our pockets right from underneath our nose.
The price for a drink and a snack is just ridiculous; do you know how cheap popcorn is? |

I agree, however that is how they make their money.
We just eat before we go. We also love to go to the drive inn theatres here. Two to three movies
for the price of one, kids 12 and under are free and we bring in our own food. Saves us a ton of
money and it is a fun way to spend a summers evening. |

Seriously?? Lol. At the movie theater i go to a like 64 oz soda or something costs like 2 bucks.

I totally agree with you on this one Grenache. Refreshment is a total rip off. Best to stock up on
goodies at the supermarket first...;-) |

They can be. If enough people decide to stop buying the treats at those prices, the prices will come
down. If people keep buying them them at the prices then that is what they are willing to pay. It
would be stupid of the theaters to lower prices if they can keep selling at the current prices.
