Yes truth and motivation can be independent. A true scientist would publish and his findings, even
if they were completely opposite to his beliefs, or what he wanted to find. |

Certainly, scientists are humans with motivations. But having a reason or goal is not a discredit
to their findings as long as they do follow the scientific method and have appropriate controls in
place. |

The only thing which gives science worth is motivation... We don't talk about the facts, we don't
need to empirically deliberate or talk about chairs for example... Their existence is once proven
just another fabric in life... Whats really worthy is the deliberation the process and motivation
behind scientific advancements. |
