This statement is absolutly positivly false... If Rap music is fight music then i am the Pope. How
on earth can you deem a set of lyrics that are about a man's hardships throughout his life to be
fight music? Rap music is around so as people who have experienced horrific things in their
lives, such as gang violence and murders, can express and vent their frustraitons at how it is still
going on in the world. Rap is there to let everybody know what those kinds of things do to people,
and that other people knpow what a specific person in that situation is going through. So fight
music?? Are you sure your listening to the beat proply ma friend? |

I think Rap is changing into R&B now... What in the hell is happening to our music? |

I don't know as I can never understand what is being said or sung. |

I have some younger guys working for me who listen to rap. A few mornings ago, they arrived to work
and I had Indestructible by Disturbed blasting on YouTube. They were afraid of the intensity.
Metal is fight music. Rap is puss music. |

It's garbage music. It's music about mindless violence, petty pointless crimes, and overall blatant
stupidity. Rap promotes the existence of "gangstas" which completely annihilates any grain of
respect actual genuine gangsters use to possess. |

I get your point but I think of Rap as the leading component of Hip Hop and I think the legacy of
Hip Hop is much more about dancing and hooking up. Yeah there's some fight component in there,
especially a gangsta part, I just don't think it sums up the whole genre.
I don't know, I'll admit I've ragged hard on Rap before. I'm definitely NOT a fan. Not my thing. |
