OK, you're in schools most of your first 20 years (or more), then you work until around 60 (about 40 years, but your life may vary), then you retire for at least another 20. So despite all our talk of how hard life can be we're only working half of it. And that half isn't nonstop, there's early mornings, evenings and nights, weekends, holidays, vacations. It's not like they put a shovel in your hand at 5 and you break rocks until death at 80. |
