1) "Most" is not accurate because only a fraction of ads have to do with clothing or products
produced by sweatshops, 2) "Slavery" is not accurate because most people working in sweatshops are
not truly "slaves". They may have few other options, and they may be badly exploited or mistreated,
but they're not shackled or forced to work completely for free. 3) Ending all advertising because
of your fear it promotes slavery would not stop ANY of what concerns you. People still need
products, they'll still buy products, and if those products came from a sweatshop then the problem
still would exist. |

If they left those countries and stopped paying (albeit small) wages to those children, their
families would literally starve in many cases. Glad you wish that upon them... |
