I agree. It would be nice to be able to expound on our debate a bit more sometimes. |

Totally agree. To really get somebody's opinion, facts, and the question they're asking, you need
to explain thoroughly, and I believe this website may not completely allow that to happen. |

First thing you do is forget about the site format. Post your debate and give your short
description. Then respond on whichever side you want (tell the whiners who jump on you for voting on
your debate to go jump in a lake) and give more explanation.
After doing this, don't be a puss like most of the people on the site. Comment to anyone who
responds to your debate. If they or anyone else answers that comment, answer again. And so on.
True, all of your great commentary won't be seen by everyone, but anyone who really cares about what
you're saying will see it. If you're lucky, that may be 4 or 5 people.
The real action is behind the scenes in the comments. As far as I know, there's no limit to them.
I've been in quite a few that string 70 to 150 comments.
The front page "debators" on here are like pop radio. They don't need much space to say nothing. |
