Perhaps. Why don't you try it out and see? |

Deffinatly, no offence to anyone but the USA can be a riot sometimes |

I'm writing this carefully so read it carefully. IF the core values of Christianity - love thy
neighbor, forgiveness, tolerance, peace - is what you mean by "more Christianity" then yes it would
make the US better. BUT if you mean to make society more homogenized so other religions are pushed
aside or so a moral majority of Christians can impose new laws then more Christianity would make
this democracy far far worse off.
It all comes down to whether you truly live with a kindness and goodness that emulates Christ's
example OR if instead you're part of the classic Christian religious right which is bent on
judgement, punishment, censorship, and an underlying intolerance of all things non-Christian. |

I don't think we need anymore hatred in our country. |

That might be true if the majority of Christians actually followed traditional Christian principles,
but that's simply not the case. For most, perhaps virtually all, Christianity is something they
wear on their sleeve to make them look good to the neighbors, Christians do not act in any way,
shape or form different from non-Christians, they're just as vain, jealous, abusive and screwed up
as anyone else, they just think they have a license to act because of their imaginary friend in the
sky.
No thanks. |

This is the exact same mentality that ALL fundamentalists share. More of our religion is good, more
of yours is bad.
Our religion is correct, your religion therefor cannot be correct.
Which leads to repeated violence over and over and over again throughout human history. |

When christ-inanity ruled Europe, it was called the Dark Ages. Fundy fascist islam in this age is
doing the same thing, as is Israel's "jews only" intentions.
The only reason someone want to live in a theocracy is get away with hate and violence against an
"other".
Edit:
In typical dishonesty of the rabidly religious, dlSillier falsely claims that a secular society is
an atheist society, and lies that not allowing one religion to dominate prevents that religion from
being practiced. |

A hypocritical statement if I ever saw one. You make the assumption that no other belief is capable
of goodness. The very act of saying that more Christianity will make the US a better place is an
act of hatred toward those of other beliefs. It would make the US a better place only for YOU and
those who are like you. Your statement reveals that you really do NOT want the US to be a better
place…for OTHERS. |

Like justsumguy said: If by Christianity you mean hatred towards whoever isn't Christian, then no,
that will not make America better place. And that will especially make the Middle Easterns (except
for Israel [maybe]), hate us more. Can anybody say, "Crusades?" =O |

Great. Let's see what we're dealing with. What's Christianity?
If you're talking about the anti-christ teachings that are accusatory, bigoted, discriminatory and
hateful....NO. |
