Yeahh! Milk chocolate doesn't have an over powering taste and doesn't make you sick as quick as dark
or white chocolate :) |

So, after you turn 21 you automatically prefer dark chocolate? |

I agree.
Now that I am older I do prefer dark or plain. And I am not sure what the white is I think it
shouldn't even be called chocolate. |

Okay, be quiet K9, this man is talking about the taste of Milk Chocolate. Pump ya brakes. And I do
agree with Milk chocolate's smooth taste and sweet rush of flavor massaging your taste buds, of my
it's delicious and as a matter of fact I'm going to get some right now, thanks Arman!! |

Milk chocolate is to dark chocolate as margarine is to butter.
It's true that many people under the age of 21 prefer instant to the real thing and processed to the
real thing. They haven't developed a sense of taste. A more mature person isn't going to get sick on
dark chocolate because they aren't going to make a meal out of it. |

"Milk chocolate is the best..." What? Hard to decide when we don't seem to be comparing it to
anything, or more simply identifying what it is the best out of. |

WHITE POWER!!! Hahaha |

I don't know if I'm for it or against it i love milk chocolate but i LOVE white chocolate and i hate
dark chocolate but anyways milk chocolate for some people is the best and for some people not i
think that it depends on the person but i think that you can't compare the different chocolates to
each other. |

White chocolate is chocolate just as much as dark, or milk, they all come from the same plant, and i
prefer dark, or white, dark is more healthy and my sister thinks i can withstand anything when i
eat it ( i am super woman!) white just tastes yummy but omg i cant eat a lot of it chocolate is
toooo sweet |

This not so much of a debate as a survey but I would have to say I like dark chocolate much better
and I always have. |

Cocoa beans are not naturally sweet. To think sugar belongs in chocolate is like thinking apples
are grown with cinnamon in them. Both apples and cocoa are perfectly fine naturally without any
contaminants added to them. Try making an apple pie with NO cinnamon, you'll never put it in again;
the same goes for those who don't know what high quality chocolate is.
Worse still, you are probably talking about garbage like Hershey and Cadbury and mislabelling their
junk as "chocolate". Hershey is lobbying the US government to let them use vegetable oil
instead of cocoa butter to make their "chocolate" because it's cheaper. They're just one step away
from making simulated flavours and using no cocoa at all.
I'd rather pay $4 for a 50 gram (1.9 ounce) bar of the darkest and most bitter Swiss or Belgian
chocolate than eat cheap garbage like Toblerone that I got for free. Quality matters.
Edit:
I would normally avoid quoting WikiDiaper since it's full of the same stuff as a baby's diaper, but
since I can't find any news articles quickly:
Static.wikipedia.org/new/wikipedia/en/articles/t/h/e/The_Hershey_Company_360c.html
In 2007, the Chocolate Manufacturers Association, whose members include Hershey, Nestlé, and
Archer Daniels Midland, began to lobby the FDA to change the legal definition of chocolate to let
them substitute partially hydrogenated vegetable oils for cocoa butter as well as artificial
sweeteners and milk substitutes. Currently, the FDA does not allow a product to be referred to as
"chocolate" if the product contains any of these ingredients.
In fall 2007, Hershey changed their milk chocolate recipe by adding lactose, milk fat, and the
food additive PGPR. |
