Memorial Day Is Not A Time For Parades.
Memorial Day is a time of remembrance of those who sacrificed their live for our country. It is a time for ceremonies honor those who have died, not a time for parades and joyous celebrations.

I actually disagree. Its a time for morning yes, but also for celebration!

Those parades are not joyous celebrations they are remembering those who sacrificed themselves for there country.

 I don't know what parades you have been to, but I have yet to see one that wasn't ahappy gleeful parade. Does this mean that when one of your relatives dies, you are going to hire a band and hold a dance?
