| Most of the McDonald's restaurants in Los Angeles now employ the practice of hiring low wage immigrant workers in lieu of hiring teenagers and young adults. Despite the obvious costs to these restaurants consequent to order "redos" and order item replacements, as a direct result of language barrier issues, McDonald's saves so much money in salaries it finds this practice not only feasible, but favorable. McDonald's should employ this practice on a nationwide basis. |
