The right represents the interests of an economic elite : By definition a minority. Therefore they
should not be able to win political power with an honest presentation of their agenda, because they
are asking people to vote against their own economic interests. The only way they can successfully
win with that kind of program is to stoke up hatred and antagonistic emotion, and hope that their
hate-mongering engages enough people to distract from the real issues. |

I'm not sure where to post this because of phrasiology (if that is a word).
McCarthyism is clearly bigotry and fearmongering.
It is being perpetrated by governments all over the world, especially America.
Republicans seem to use buzz words such as 911 and terrorists who hate America, which appeal to
Jingoistic sentiment ass well as instilling fear among the people, in order to justify certain
policies. |

The very act of seeking the presidency almost certainly means that you are unqualified to withstand
the rigors and temptations of leadership of the largest single economy and the most powerful
military the world has ever known. Lies, intimidation, insinuations, rumors, hate, and maybe most of
all fear have always been the arsenal of those we choose to lead us. But swift boats and terrorists
hold little menace when faced with danger to our pocketbooks. We fear for our jobs and or livelihood
so some of the old rhetoric wont play in this environment. |

McCain is behind in the polls so Barack Obama is now a terrorist ally... Bush made John Kerry look
like he lied about his service in Vietnam... When does this stop... The Republican party needs to
talk clearly about issues and resolutions to the economic problems American's are facing... With
great detail and specifics n how to solve problems that relate to Americans.... Communism,
terrorism... Solve everyday problems |
