McCain's Postponing His Campaign And The Debate To "save The Economy" Is Just A Political Gain For Himself.
McCain riding in on a white horse to save the day (economy) is just a facade. He hadn't been to the white house since April and now that the focus of the presidential election is on the economy he now decides to step up even though he is not needed. McCain seems to be avoiding the upcoming debate because it is not his strong suit.

It's a desperate ploy in more than one way.

First, McCainchurian is making a feeble attempt to stop Obama from gaining ground in the polls. McCainchurian also hoped Obama would stop campaigning while McCainchurian continued to do so despite lying that he, McCainchurian, had stopped.

Second, it's a desperate attempt to make McCainchurian look like he knows something about economics when really he's clueless. Not only was it an attempt to involve himself in a process he knows nothing about, McCainchurian actually ended up derailing it and preventing a solution from being reached on Saturday.

To top it off, McCainchurian lied and claimed it was his campaign that contacted Obama's when everyone already knew that Obama had called Songbird's campaign.

Yes, I feel this is true. He, along with Senator Phil Graham of Texas, sponcered the Banking deregulation legislation in the US senate, that helped usher in the mess we are in now. He doesn't want to go into a debate with Obama, knowing this will come up, without some kind of solution in place that might help to balance out the damage that he helped create.

This is so wrong. I think McCain is doing the right thing by putting country first. First of all Obama said he has been campaining for 19 months now, and has been in the senate for 2 years how much time has he actually spent in Washington? Has he been able to vote more than present? I don't see how the debate would evan matter since the first debate was to be on foreign policy not on the economy and you cant switch them with such little notice because Obama would not have time to study. No McCain is showing real leadership.

 Oh gee, Obama isn't a "serious candidate" because he doesn't have a 26 year career of helping the guilty escape charges in the Keating Five Savings and Loan scandal, he doesn't have a history of opposing bills that actually would support US troops with health care (which McCainchurian opposed), nor does he have a history of blowing up at otehr people in government nor threatening to blow up other countries, as McCainchurian *has* done.

And most importantly, Obama wasn't in office when McCainchurian backed Phil Gramm's bill in 1999 that created the financial mess.

McCainchurian is a doddering old fool with fewer mental faculties than Reagan, as well as a proven record of treason: McCainchurian willingly made radio propaganda for the communists in Vietnam. They didn't even have to torture him to get him to do it.
