As he should. The only way to break the corrupt two-party system is to have candidates that don't
support either party run as a member of one of them. That will show people that we need another
option. |

I can't see how McCain is running as a third party and receiving such backing from Republicans.
Independents are dangerous, hence the reason why none ever become popular choices; they can go
either way on issues and hold no one side in favor. I think McCain would be smart to stick with the
Repubs/GOP for the simple fact of backing. I think of McCain openly called himself an Independent
(which he almost does by calling himself a maverick, which is a joke in itself) then he would drop
rapidly in the polls. Its all a political move at this point, regardless of what McCain actually is. |
