Maturity Is A Process, Not A Level.
Just a thought: We never stop maturing throughout life.

I agree with this statement.

I would also like to add that maturity "levels" also tend to vary between cultures, however, there are more similarities when it comes to maturity than differences.

What a WONDERFUL topic, by the way. ....;-)

ok, yes.

Because maturity is something one grows into with time insight experience, wisdom.....

It takes.......Time. No way around that one.......sorry.....;-)
Life is a journey we are on. To learn. To grow. To mature. To be all that we can be.
Adapt improvise and overcome.

I agree with the statement but some people get worse the older they become.

That's true. Maturity is really about handling your life responsibly and your role(s) in society constructively and the demands for doing that are always growing and changing. There's always something to learn, something new to deal with, some lesson.

And ironically the opposite is also true... Some people become so intent on the seriousness, responsibilities, and business of being a mature adult that they lose touch with their inner child. Getting some of that vitality and wonder back can also require an on-going process to rekindle the spark.

Well some people sure seem to stop but I agree with your point nonetheless.

Agreed. There is no point at which we are perfect in that there is no room for improvement.

Some people actually regress in their life. I think it's both.

I agree, can't it be both?

It takes a process to get to the LEVEL of maturity, but not all processes will get you to maturity.

Unless the world unanimously agrees to change the definiion of the word, maturity is a level.

It represent not the process but measures the efficiency, productivity or results of the process.

Process is the Exam
Maturity is the Score

You can take the exam (process) 100 times but you need to get a certain level or score (maturity ) to pass.

The same way a score measures your proficiency in certain topic. So does maturity measures your proficiency in life.

There does come a time when we stop maturing just like fruits and start dying. Maturity is not exponential and does not keep growing and growing, once you achieve it you have it and the only way left is down.
