The problem with drugs and the way they are being dealt with by parents and the authority's, is they never address the reason the kids take them.
Anyone who takes drugs of any kind, has to give them up in the end. They don't and will never solve the underlying problem.

NO WAY! Letting teenagers get high when they get home is just the dumbest thing any one has EVER heard of! If you let teenagers get high, they'll just ruin their lives! It's stupid, and their lives will be shortened!

No way should a parent consent to this. This is avior is OK when it is not. Parents that actually do this should not be parents.

Stunts intellectual growth and in some cases testosterone, well at least the femal buds, and it creats a mental complacent realm that can become un-escapable. "Down with dope or increase the dopes"

Why are teens so into drugs? Why is it such an important aspect of their lives? Why is sex? Why are these things of such importance to this age-group? Why do they think it's such a big deal to be doing these things? It's no wonder so many of them grow up to be so angry and become adults who are so full of disappointment!!!

OK just think about it. . . WOULD YOU WANT YOUR CHILDREN BEING DRUG ADDICTS WHEN THEY GET OLDER?. . .Getting high in your own home not only effects you but the people around you. Why would you want to influence and harm many around you? Studies show that 90% of teenagers pick up smoking habits in there own homes. Today many teens are runaways and abusers in today's society. And I highly disagree that teens should be able to smoke in there own homes.

Getting high in any circumstances is not acceptable. Thus when we talk about getting high at home then we must say that parents should never encourage this. Again on the contrary they also should not restrict their children so much that they start getting high outside their home and start hiding these issues from their parents. A good parent should always explain the good and bad sides of a matter and then let their children take their own decision. As for example parents should allow their children to drink but should also make them understand that where to stop so that they don’t get addicted to it. By doing this they are also being liberal to their children to ensure that they do not hide things outside. They should make their children realize that up to what extent drinking is not bad.

Parents should never just sit back and allow their kids to get high at home on any type of drug. To argue that adults need to just passively accept the fact that their kids will go off and get high on the street, so they might as well do it at home, is rather an absurd argument. Should parents necessarily allow their kids to get drunk at home, in order to avoid them drinking themselves into oblivion at a pub? Should parents let their teenagers bring home an escort in order to avoid them going off to a brothel? The answer to both of these questions is quite obviously "no."

The possession of Marijuana is not legal in most western countries and even where it is, the law is fairly clear in pointing out that it should be used for medicinal purposes only. A teenager getting high clearly does not qualify as medicinal. Parents should discourage their kids from using any controlled substance and if they suspect that their teenager may be using drugs, they should address this issue as soon as possible.
