I'm for PC i can do anything a mac can do. PC can run video games, safari, fire fox, Internet explorer
and upgrading dose not mean I have to buy a new computer.
MAC's are so restrictive and buggy. In my school, they have a few in the art department and there is
a major difference in performance between the two.
PC's are capable of much more (currently), but Macs are much easier to use especially if your not
good with computers. There are a few very creative programs on Macs though.
Macs aren't even any better at video editing these days. There was a time where the Mac was the
go-to machine for desktop publishing and video work, but Apple blew their lead and now, anything you
can do on a Mac, you can do on a PC. PCs are also a lot cheaper for equivalent performance machines
and you have a choice of which manufacturers you go with for your components, unlike Mac where
you're stuck with Apple.
Further, I don't trust Apple for much of anything, not after they're admitting that they can delete
applications off your iPhone at will and turn it into a brick because they think you're just
*RENTING* the phone from them.
I've never used a mac and spend all day on a PC. I don't really care one way or the other, but Mac
gets my vote because they have a brilliant marketing campaign that makes me laugh almost every time
I see an ad.
PCs are great for cutting-edge video games and networking in a business environment. Macs are better
for everything else, especially anything creative. As an owner of both for many years, I only use
the PC when I have to. Macs are also cheaper when you consider the extra training required to
actually be productive on a non-intuitive PC.
