If only we could all be open minded what a wonderful world this would be:-))

If you do not open your mind, your heart will not open either - and love cannot then possibly take place at all, so yes. You are correct.
Love is a choice, as well as a feeling : But feeling, always follows thought.

It's part of it so I'll agree but it's kind of like saying, "the ship is the deck."

I strongly endorse being open minded and think it is a strong foundation for love. But I do have to admit there are times "tough love" is necessary.

Love is being open minded to what? Swapping? Infidelity? 20/50 relationship? Or all of the wonderful opportunities the two or three of you could have? Please clarify --open-minded.

Are you open-minded about the fact that: "If only we could all be open minded what a wonderful world this would be:-))" ---may not be true?

Kind of kidding here, just pointing out a bit of self-referential disparity in your assertion. However, it would help if you would define "open-minded."--then more meaningful comments may come forth.

What is open minded? Live and let live?
I like to think I am open minded, but I know I am not when people hit me with an ideal that goes against my grain.
Like Racism, bigotry, if I were truly open minded, I would see their point, but I am not, I just think you need to be bigger than whatever your story is that led you there. But I haven't lived their story, so I am most definitley not open minded.
To be completely open minded, is probably to be a bit daft, don't you think?

Love isn't very open minded towards the possibility that whatever you love isn't so great after all.
