Mm2real put it like this: "there's always someone else there to comfort us and fill up that gap
someone else left".....
I agree, in a way....but no one can ever take another person's place in your heart: Your heart is
like a house with many rooms; when you love someone? It makes them special to your heart, and you
will always love that person even when they are long gone out of your life.
The absent lover has a place in your memory.
Not your feeling of love and desire any longer, but still your love in Memory. You always remember
them, even if the feelings are gone that you had for them before has altered into a different type
of love, still, love nonetheless. Maybe you don't want them as a lover anymore, and you do want this
new person as a lover, but the one that has gone still has your heart: Which they won.
The new lover will have your heart now that they are your's to love back. In time, the new one will
be all you see that way.....Still......
Love if it is real, is always real, and never dies.
"God is love", the Bible says.....
God, is Immortal.
Your real love is immortal too.
So, this person you loved and lost? Who hurt you deeply by leaving your life empty?
They filled a little room in the house of your heart, and no one will ever be able to take THEIR
place: The new lover will make his own room in your heart; have his own place.
Because that is how it is.
Sometimes love is confusing in a way, but in time, you figure out what happened, and you feel like
the musical group "Foreigner" the song entitled: "I Wanna Know What Love Is'. |

Of course love is a pain in the @$$, but that's what makes it what it is, would you love someone if
you knew every single day would be perfect? No problems? On the outside it sounds nice, but in
reality, it is the inherent problems in love that make it what it is. |

|

|

|
Of course love hurts, but it's one of the most precious emotions that humans feel. I'm totally for
the old saying, "it's better than to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all." I've
never actually been in love, but rest assured that if I never fall in love it will be my number one
regret in life. |

I don't care. |

I find the notion ridiculous. But even supposing it was true, is it better or less painful to avoid
love? At least with love there is an upside as well as a downside. To choose to be alone and
unconnected the only upside is you never have to share the remote. |

But "to have loved and lost is better than to never have loved at all" If you believe that love is
so bad then I feel real pity for you "for to love is to live" and "life without love is not really
life at all". |

I will agree that love can hurt. People will more often than not find themselves unable to achieve
the object of their love, alive or inanimate, but as for hurting more than it's worth, I simply
cannot agree. I would rather feel heartbreak every day of my life than never feel love. |

There are ups and downs in everyone's life. Love is the best feeling we could ever feel, but then
again, it hurts so much to lose it. But there's always someone else there to comfort us and fill
that gap that someone else left, but it's up to the person to let another person in. |
