Clearly, love has meaning if one looks at all of the books written about love. Love might not have
the same meaning to all people. There are people who seem to only love themselves, but that is
still love. The love for a child, for our parents, for our spouse or romantic partner, the love for
our friends and loving all people, all differ from one another, but are still valid. The teachings
of Christ tell us to love one another. The number of self help books about love is enormous. The
fact that people buy romantic novels or watch romantic comedies and other love stories suggests that
most people believe in the concept of love. I have not met too many people who are cynical enough
to disagree that they feel love for at least those closest to them. |

If love has no meaning then you yourself would have never ever partaking in the joys of a
relationship, or seperated yourself from the sadness based on the lack there of. Ever then now or
later.
If you have children, then why should they listen to you or heed to your affection if love has no
meaning huh? Go ahead, I'll wait for your answer?????????? |

Some things in this world don't have scientific proof to back them up (although I do agree with
boy2girl31). Love does exist, because obviously people are feeling it. Maybe love is a gift from
God to humans, since you don't really see it a lot in the animal world, and that's why you can't
really explain it. Are you saying you don't love anybody? |

Actually love is medically documented. Love causes a rise in both seratonin and pheramone levels. |

Is anger, fear, anxiety, self ego, passion, sympathy, and joy just "feelings"? Don't they all have
meaning? Are they significant to who we are? Are they essential for our survival? Don't they all
exist. And isn't love just like them.
The answer to all these questions, simply, is YES. |
